WHO ARE BT21?
Who are BT21 characters?
You might have seen these cute little characters in your free sticker options in messaging apps like LINE or Facebook. Well, they are BT21 – created by global Kpop icons BTS.
The characters were born back in late September 2017, when BTS joined LINE Friends’ Creators initiative, a project where the brand work with global artists on characters and product ideas.
STORY OF UNIVERSAL BT21
Hailing from Planet BT, Prince TATA dreams to spread love across the galaxy. Deciding that destiny is at hand, TATA summons guardian robot VAN to prepare for an interstellar journey to Earth. Shortly after arrival, the Prince concludes that the most effective means to win over the hearts of earthlings is to become a super, no… something much more ambitious. A UNIVERSTAR.

MATERIALS AND TOOLS
- DK yarn or worsted weight yarn (Some of my favorite yarns for amigurumi: Lion Brand, Jeans Yarnart, Red Heart)
- 2.2-2.5mm hook for DK and 3.5-3.75mm for worsted weight yarn (My most used hooks: Tulip, Clover, Furls Crochet)
- Yarn needle, tapestry needle
- Scissors
- Polyfill
- Stitch marker
- Safety eyes or embroidery thread
- You also can consider getting the whole kit for beginners.
If you want to make bigger sizes of the amigurumi, simply follow this guide or use big yarn threads and hooks.
