Crochet Ear Saver Pattern Free Pattern
CROCHET EAR SAVER – BALL 1
1) MR 6X (6)
2) 6V (12)
3-4) 12X (12)
5) 6A (6)
Stuff the ball a bit
6) Fold in half, 2X through opposite sts. Turn, Continue to the string
CROCHET EAR SAVER – STRING
5CH, E to create the hole, turn. Each hole is equal to 2.5mm. Depending on your yarn and hook, measure the hole and repeat this step until you have the correct length for the string (long enough for being used as a mask holder on the neck)
I calculated for you already but it is an adjustable ear saver and mask holder so the length doesn’t really matter.

MATERIALS AND TOOLS
- DK yarn or worsted weight yarn (Some of my favorite yarns for amigurumi: Lion Brand, Jeans Yarnart, Red Heart)
- 2.2-2.5mm hook for DK and 3.5-3.75mm for worsted weight yarn (My most used hooks: Tulip, Clover, Furls Crochet)
- Yarn needle, tapestry needle
- Scissors
- Polyfill
- Stitch marker
- Safety eyes or embroidery thread
- You also can consider getting the whole kit for beginners.

ABBREVIATIONS
You might not use all the abbreviations in the amigurumi crochet pattern but I still want to show you all just to refer to. I use US terms and symbols alternatively. They are all easy to remember and follow.
MR: magic ring
CH: chain
X – sc: Single crochet
T -hdc: half double crochet
F – dc: double crochet
E – tr: Triple crochet
V – inc: Increase (make 2 stitches in 1 stitch)
W – 3 sts in same st: (make 3 stitches in 1 stitch)
A – dec: Decrease (make 1 stitch from 2 stitches)

M – make 1st from 3sts: Decrease (make 1 stitch from 3 stitches)
TV, FV, EV – hdcinc, dcinc, trinc: Increase with half double crochet, double crochet, and triple crochet
TA, FA, EA – hdcdec, dcdec, trdec: Decrease with half double crochet, double crochet, and triple crochet
p – picot stitch: 3chain, slip stitch in the first chain.
BLO: Back loop only
FLO: Front loop only
SS – ss: slip stitch
FO: Fasten off
St/Sts: Stitch/Stitches
