Inner ear – Dark Pink yarn, Outer ear – Light pink yarn
1) 7CH, crochet in the second loop from hook 6hdc (6), turn, CH
2) 6hdc (6), turn, CH
3) hdcdec, 2hdc, hdcdec (4), turn, CH
4) 2hdcdec (2).
FO. Do not cut the yarn of the outer ear, keep 2 pieces together and use white yarn to crochet through both sts of 2 ears
5) (5sc, 3 sc at the corner)*2, 5sc, (sc, 3CH, SS at the first CH, sc at the same st), SS to join the round.
FO. Leave a long yarn tail to sew.

- DK yarn or worsted weight yarn (Some of my favorite yarns for amigurumi: Lion Brand, Jeans Yarnart, Red Heart)
- 2.2-2.5mm hook for DK and 3.5-3.75mm for worsted weight yarn (My most used hooks: Tulip, Clover, Furls Crochet)
- Yarn needle, tapestry needle
- Scissors
- Polyfill
- Stitch marker
- Safety eyes or embroidery thread
- You also can consider getting the whole kit for beginners.
If you want to make bigger sizes of the amigurumi, simply follow this guide or use big yarn threads and hooks.

Some facts about Pig people
The Pig is the twelfth animal sign in the Chinese zodiac cycle. In Chinese astrology, each year is related to a Chinese zodiac animal according to a 12-year cycle.
With a round and fat face, the Pig is the symbol of wealth, felicity, honesty, and practicality in Chinese zodiac culture. Many money pots (Chinese piggybanks) are made pig-shaped as people believe Pig invocation will bring good luck monetarily.
The most recent years of the Pig are 2019, 2007, 1995, 1983, 1971, 1959, 1947, 1935…
In Chinese element theory, each zodiac sign is associated with one of the five elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Gold (Metal), and Water. Each Pig-element year corresponds with an element and comes once in a 60-year cycle. For example, 2019 was the year of the Earth Pig. The next Earth Pig year is 2079.
